Here’s a picture from Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. I’m homesick today. We found out we get to go home to Albuquerque next weekend, possibly for a whole week, so yay for that!
I’m sitting here eating a bowl full of strawberries and blueberries and blackberries and pretty much anything I could find with the word “berry” attached to it, oh, and a carrot.
I have so much to get done and am getting behind so I’m just going to do a quick little note today.
I went for a 2 mile walk this morning when the sun came out (Ok people, I’m in Cali-freakin-fornia and it’s raining? I know, I know, it has to rain but I am seriously in protest of that “fact”.) and then I stopped by Target which is, conveniently 1 block from where we’re staying. I bought another pair of size 16 pants, some khakis that were on sale for $12. I can’t wear them yet, I can zip up a size 16 jeans but my fat, fat muffin top spills over the top still so I’m NOT going to wear them for another 5-8 pounds or so. But hey, now I have 2 pair of size 16’s!
I’ve been limping along one one pair of pants per each size that I get into because I’m too cheap to spend anything more that $15 or so on a pair of pants that I won’t be able to wear for more than 6 weeks. So anyway, I achieved pants today. Pants that I can’t wear. There’s some sort of mocking humor in that, but, as it seems to be directed at me, in the words of Queen Elizabeth, “We are not amused.”
Gots to work peoples. I’m outtie.

I bet you will be able to wear those pants comfortably before you know it! I do not like rain either – not at all. It makes me depressed.
We had strawberries last night and they were absolutely delicious!
