Oh. My. Goodness. I reached one of my goals, a HUGELY important one: on my 3.3 mile loop, I ran 1 full mile without stopping and at a fairly decent pace! Wow, what a workout. Wow. So, this is “exercise tired”…whew! Seriously, I’m so happy, it’s what I’ve wanted for at least 6 years since I stopped running and gained tons of weight. I’m making my way back.
I intend to stay here, at this level, for the next 4 weeks: Walk about a mile, run a mile, walk a little more than a mile. I don’t care about my pace, either the walking OR the running, at this point.
It was so cold and windy out there on my dirt roads. I went out just in time because the wind is really howling now! This is me, wearing my happy, 1 mile smile:
