I’ve lost another 1/2 pound, so that’s one pound for the week so far. I hope, hope, hope to lose 3 pounds a week for the next 4 weeks, then if it HAS to slow down to one or 1 1/2 pounds per week, ok. I just want to start off with a bang. I want to feel better and look better, and darn it! I want to wear a size 20!
- Eat every 3-4 hours. “Champions eat every 3-4 hours”. I like to chant that in my head. I don’t always eat every 3-4 hours but I’m working on it. I guess I’m about 1/2 of a champion.
- Always eat a protein and a carb together so my muscle will be able to properly uptake the protein.
- Always eat a protein at each meal.
- If you’re really overweight, just your body weight alone will be all you need to develop strength as you exercise. So yes, all that fat is bad, but now I think of it as something that’s aiding me in gaining strength and muscle mass.
I’m going out to lunch tomorrow with 2 friends I used to work with here in Albuquerque. We’re going to a Japanese restaurant. I’m planning ahead to order something that’s mostly vegetable based. I want to see my friends, not go off plan with food. I’m thinking of it as an opportunity to catch up and have fun, the food is incidental. However, I am a little worried because I don’t know what to expect and at this point I just can’t go even a little off plan. I feel so strongly about it.
