Here’s a body fat chart that explains what is considered normal, obese and morbidly obese.
Sadly, when I started this journey, I was 42.3% fat. Over 40% of me fat! I’m officially “morbidly obese,” something I’m not at all happy about.
The good news is that after losing 17 pounds, I’m now at 40.4% body fat, just .04% shy of slipping into the “Clinically Obese” catagory at 30-35% body fat. I’m…..uh, happy about that? Well, yes, I am. Now I’m gunning for just being “Obese” at 30-35% and finally, “Normal” at 25-30% body fat. The Biggest Loser Club has a goal for me of being no more than 22%, which is fine by me.
